2020 Thanksgiving Festivities

Jan 22, 2022

This thanksgiving is definitely unusual, but we don’t want to skip this beautiful celebration and be thankful for so many things. We’ve gathered some recommendations to enjoy these days while staying safe.

  • Mask up, wash your hands often and don’t forget to stay 6 ft apart.
  • Have a small outdoor meal with family and friends.
  • Have guests bring their own food and drink, plates, cups, and utensils.
  • Schedule a time to share a meal together virtually.
  • Watch Thanksgiving Day parades, sports, and movies at home.
Tips: The 94th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 26, on NBC
  • Find a fun game to play at home.
  • Safely prepare traditional dishes and deliver them to family and neighbors in a way that does not involve contact with others (for example, leave them on the porch).
  • Shop online sales the day after Thanksgiving and days leading up to the winter holidays.
